"Pork Chops and Apple Sauce!"
I think everyone has heard that saying at least once in their lifetime. For some reason pork and apple flavors just seem to work well together. The slow cooked apple butter in this recipe adds deep complex flavors to this sauce that goes great with pork and a variety of other meats. This sauce is a little thicker so it great when used as a basting sauce on ribs, pork chops, chicken, salmon, etc... But not so thick you can't pour it on your favorite pulled pork or brisket sandwich. It is so versatile we also use it to make BBQ Chicken pizza and as a table-side condiment.
